This is a nice and short hike, with a constant ocean breeze throughout the trail. Great for a hot day!
Difficulty Rating: 4/10 (the path is relatively flat, but we highly recommend climbing up the rock formations as you get an amazing view and great breeze!)
Duration: 2 hours

How to get there:
Hiking Directions:
After getting off the bus, walk down Cape D'Aguilar Road (image 1).
After about 20 minutes, you will see a sign for the HF Radio Engineering Station - follow that path (image 2).
About 3km in, you will see the radio station. Continue over the speed breaker.
You will then see signs telling you not to trespass. Then, go beyond the railing and walk along the beaten path (image 4).
After this, you will return onto a concrete path and eventually come to a fork. Turn left for a lighthouse, and turn right for the marine reserve.
To get back, simply follow the same path you took to get there, and take either Bus #9, or the red minibus to Shau Kei Wan station.
PS: When we went, the lighthouse path was under construction, but we definitely recommend you taking a look on both sides as you get panoramic ocean views! At the Marine Reserve, in addition to finding the whale's skeleton, we recommend that you climb up the rock formations as you get an amazing ocean breeze from the top.
Another spot you must check out is "Crab Cave" behind the marine science building. This is a great Instagram spot as you can see the ocean and the sunset from under the cave.
