Hike & Jam: RVZR

Get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and make the most of the peace and quiet out at Pineapple Dam! After a short hike, we will stop at a gorgeous clearing for a 2-hour art-jamming session. While listening to the calming sounds of the water, birds, and trees, create your masterpiece - a stylistic portrait inspired by a friend. 

The art-jamming session will be led by Robyn Zanine (@_rvzr), who specialises in figurative Afrocentric art. While teaching the basics of acrylic paints, she will urge you to ask all the important questions to develop your own style in the realms of figurative painting.

Skills that will be taught include basic colour theory, painting (mixing colours, creating textures, etc) and the basics of stylising the human figure. Acrylic paints, brushes, canvases, other tools and tutor guidance will be provided.
